Daikin air purifier filters by part number

The genuine electrostatic HEPA dust collection filter for Daikin's MC30YPVM, MC40YPVM, MC55YPVM and MCK55YPVM purifiers. It is the white pleated filter that sits behind the black deodorising filter unit. Daikin rates it at about 10 years in a home where five cigarettes a day are smoked, so replace it sooner if your air is dirtier or it stops performing. Do not wash or vacuum it. Daikin's brochure calls the same filter BAFP500A.

After the change: These models have no filter-change light, so there is nothing to reset after fitting a new filter.

Fits 4 Daikin models: MC30YPVM, MC40YPVM, MC55YPVM, MCK55YPVM.

The genuine pleated filter pack for Daikin's older MC70LPVM purifier: five pleated filters, used one at a time. The pleated filter clips onto the front of the deodorising catalyst unit behind the front panel and UNIT1. Change it when the filter lamp lights up or blinks; Daikin says that is about 2 years of daily use in a home where 10 cigarettes a day are smoked. Then hold the filter reset button for 5 seconds.

Change it every 2 years; 5 steps, no tools.

After the change: Press the filter reset button on the upper part of the front panel for 5 seconds; the filter lamp goes off with a short beep.

Fits the MC70LPVM.

Daikin's replacement humidifying filters for the MCK55YPVM humidifying air purifier: one orange and one blue filter that clip into the frames of the humidifying filter unit (the frames and axle are kept). Daikin puts their life at about 10 years with regular cleaning; replace them sooner if stains won't wash out or the machine humidifies less. The purifier's dust filter is listed on the air purifier pages.

After the change: No reset needed for the humidifying filters.

Fits the MCK55YPVM.
