Original or compatible?

A chlorinator cell fits by the maker and the power unit: its connector, length and output must match the controller. Genuine cells come from the maker; replacement cells from other companies name the models or the maker's cell code they replace.

Where the model number is

The model and output are on the label on the power supply or control box, usually on a wall near the pump. The cell often has its own code on the housing.

Why change it on time

As the plates wear the cell makes less chlorine, so the pool turns green or cloudy even with the output turned up. Many controllers show a check-cell or low-output warning as a cell nears the end of its life.

How this list is built

Every fit comes from the manufacturer's own compatibility list or parts page, with the source recorded on each row. Where only a seller lists a fit, the page says so. Prices are re-read from each seller's page daily where they publish one, and dated. How FitMatch checks fitment.
