How to change your Coway filter
Steps for the Airmega Mighty / 200M Standard Filter Set (GreenHEPA + 2 deodorisation) (3109689), the filter 2 Coway models take. Change it every 12 months.
- 1Unplug the purifier and pull the top of the front cover to open it.
- 2Press down on the clip at the top of the pre-filter and pull it out, then lift out the old deodorisation filter and GreenHEPA filter.
- 3Take the new filters out of their plastic. Fit the GreenHEPA filter first, then the deodorisation filter, then the pre-filter, each with its 'front' side facing out.
- 4Close the front cover and plug in. Keep the set's second deodorisation filter for the 6-month swap.
- 5When the Odor or HEPA light blinks, fit the matching filter and hold the Reset button for 2 seconds.

Common questions
- How often should I change a Coway filter?
- Every 12 months for the Airmega Mighty / 200M Standard Filter Set (GreenHEPA + 2 deodorisation) (3109689), the most common Coway filter here. Each model page shows the interval for its own filter.
- What happens if I don't change the filter?
- The fan works harder for less airflow, and the carbon layer stops taking smells out well before the filter looks dirty.
- Does Coway make a compatible filter?
- Coway makes the genuine filter. Compatible filters for Coway models are made by other companies to fit the same models, and Australian sellers we track list both; each part page shows the genuine and compatible prices side by side.
- How do I reset the filter reminder on a Coway air purifier?
- The Odor light is for the deodorisation filter and the HEPA light for the GreenHEPA filter. After fitting the filter, hold the Reset button for 2 seconds. If you changed a filter early, hold Reset for 2 seconds, press it to pick Odor or HEPA, then hold it again for 2 seconds.
