How to change the 1148 007 4100 service kit

- 1Stop the engine, engage the chain brake and let the saw cool down.
- 2Turn the shroud locks anticlockwise until the cover comes free and lift it off.
- 3Pull the latch forward and take out the air filter. Fit the new filter: hook it in at the back and press it in until the latch clicks.
- 4Pull off the spark plug boot, wipe dirt away from around the plug, unscrew it and screw in the new plug from the kit (gap 0.5 mm, STIHL says). Press the boot firmly home.
- 5Swap the fuel filter using the hook in the kit box, then refit the cover and tighten the shroud locks clockwise.
