  1. 1La Specialista Opera and Maestro: fit the 1-cup filter in the portafilter and press the cleaning disc accessory into it.
  2. 2Put one cleaning tab on the accessory and attach the portafilter to the coffee spout.
  3. 3Fill the water tank and make sure the drip tray is empty.
  4. 4Hold the cleaning button until its light blinks (Opera: then press OK). When it stops, remove the accessory, rinse the portafilter and filter, refit and run a rinse.
  5. 5Eletta Ultra: when it shows 'Machine cleaning required', follow the screen. Fill the tank, drop one tab into the pre-ground coffee funnel and press Start, then rinse the brewing unit under running water, with no detergent.
  6. 6La Specialista Prestigio: run the cleaning cycle as its manual describes, with one tab where the manual says.
