Philips coffee machine water filters by part number
1 Philips water filters sold in Australia. Each part page lists the models it fits, how often to change it and what sellers charge.
Philips and Saeco espresso machines use the AquaClean Calc and Water filter, coded CA6903 with a regional suffix such as CA6903/10 or CA6903/22. Philips says to replace it when the machine indicates (a slow blink means buy a new one, a fast blink means change it) and at least every three months regardless. Replacing the filter eight times in sequence gives up to 5000 cups without descaling.

The water filters
AquaClean CA6903 Water FilterCA6903 · 9 modelsfrom $17.22The Philips AquaClean CA6903/10 is the ion-exchange cartridge for Philips and Saeco automatics with AquaClean. The machine counts cups and shows an orange filter icon when a change is due. Philips rates it for up to 625 cups per filter and up to 5,000 cups without descaling if you replace it eight times on request. After eight filters the machine will still ask you to descale.
Change it every 3 months; 4 steps, no tools.
After the change: Fit the filter, then activate it in the machine menu (on button-panel models hold the AquaClean button about 3 seconds, then press start; the AquaClean light turns blue when active). Activation resets the cup counter and suppresses the descale alarm until the eighth filter.
