How to clean with the TZ80001A

  1. 1Before the cleaning or calc'nClean programme, open the door, take out the brewing unit, rinse it under running water and put it back.
  2. 2CT636 and CT836: choose Clean in the service menu, empty the drip trays when asked, then open the ground-coffee drawer, drop in one cleaning tablet and close it.
  3. 3CT7 and CT9 (CT718, CT918): open Care & maintenance, choose Cleaning and follow the display. The tablet goes only into the brew chamber of the brewing unit.
  4. 4Close the door, put a container of at least 0.5 litres under the outlet and press start. On CT636 and CT836 a clean takes about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Empty the drip trays and wipe the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Never put a descaling tablet in the ground-coffee drawer or the brewing unit.
