  1. 1Take the water tank off the machine and empty it.
  2. 2Fit the 1ECWF01 filter in the tank as the leaflet that comes with the filter shows, then fill the tank with fresh water and refit it.
  3. 3BCC12: set the water hardness to 'Light' (hold keys 22 and 26 together for at least 3 seconds to save the setting). Other machines: set the softest hardness level as the booklet says.
  4. 4Take the filter out of the tank before every descaling cycle and refit it afterwards.
