- 1Switch the dishwasher off, let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot) and pull out the lower basket. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
- 2Turn the round filter (A) anticlockwise and lift it out of the flat filter (B).
- 3Pull the two halves of filter (A) apart and rinse them, then push them back together until they click.
- 4Lift out the flat filter (B), rinse it and put it back so it sits under the two guides.
- 5Put filter (A) back into filter (B) and turn it clockwise until it locks.
- 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.
