- 1Switch the dishwasher off, let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot) and pull out the lower basket. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
- 2Turn the round filter (B) anticlockwise and lift it out, then pull the inner filter (C) out of it.
- 3Lift out the flat filter (A) and check that no food is left in or around the edge of the sump.
- 4Put the flat filter back so it sits under its 2 guides, and push filter (C) back into filter (B).
- 5Put filter (B) back into the flat filter and turn it clockwise until it locks.
- 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.
