- 1Switch the dishwasher off, let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot), open the door and pull out the lower basket. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
- 2Turn the handle on the microfilter about a quarter turn anticlockwise and lift out the filter system.
- 3Hold the coarse filter by its handle and pull it out of the microfilter, then lift the flat filter out of the base.
- 4Rinse the filters under running water.
- 5Put the flat filter back flat in the base, push the coarse filter into the microfilter, refit the system and turn the handle clockwise until it locks.
- 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.
