1Switch the dishwasher off and let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot), then remove the lower rack and turn the bottom spray arm so its wider V opens to the front. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
2Turn the inner filter anticlockwise and lift out the inner filter together with the stainless steel filter.
3Check the sump opening and remove anything caught there.
4Clean the filters with a soft brush under running water, or swap in the new part, and put the two filters back together.
5With the spray arm's wider V to the front, fit the filters back into the holder and turn the inner filter clockwise until it clicks.
