- 1When the display shows the clean-filter notification, open the base unit: open the maintenance flap at the bottom front, open the lever for the heat exchanger cover and pull the cover out by its handle.
- 2Remove the fluff and any dirt from the seal, clean the insides under running water and dry them. Use a soft brush for heavy soiling.
- 3Pull the fluff collector out horizontally (condensation may drip out), open it and remove the fluff.
- 4Clean the filter under running water (or in the dishwasher) and dry it thoroughly. Do not damage or remove the collector's seal.
- 5Close the fluff collector until the tab engages, slide it back in horizontally as far as it goes, then refit the heat exchanger cover and close the maintenance flap.
