After replacing: No pad reminder to reset. After fitting new pads, run Pad Flush from the MagIQtouch settings menu if your cooler has one, or fill the tank, run the pump for about 5 minutes and drain it, to clear the smell of new pads.

  1. 1Turn the cooler off at the wall control, then switch it off at the isolating switch inside the cooler. Seeley recommends an authorised Seeley dealer or service agent for any work on the roof: climbing onto the roof is hazardous, and its manuals say maintenance is for a qualified, licensed technician.
  2. 2Working at heights needs extra safety precautions, Seeley warns: only go up if you can reach the cooler safely. Take off the pad frames, noting where each goes: each outer frame comes away with its louvre, the right-hand frame has a safety pin, and the inner frame sits behind them.
  3. 3Remove the pad retainers, lift out the old pads and fit the shaped XTR pads from the set in the same positions, including the inner pad.
  4. 4Refit the retainers and frames, switch the power back on and run the cooler. Flush the new pads with Pad Flush in the MagIQtouch settings menu.
