Westinghouse fridge water filters by part number

The PureAir Ultra II (242047806, sold here as Unilux ULX221 in a twin pack) is the carbon air filter fitted inside newer Westinghouse and Electrolux fridges. It absorbs food odours in the cabinet rather than treating water. Westinghouse recommends a new filter every six months and resetting the indicator by holding the Reset Air Filter button for three seconds.

Westinghouse recommends replacing it every six months and resetting the indicator by holding the Reset Water Filter button for three seconds. It is the same cartridge as the US Frigidaire PureSource Ultra II.

It connects to the quarter-inch supply line rather than sitting inside the cabinet. Westinghouse's filter guide says to replace it at least every six months.

The WF2CB PureSource2 (Westinghouse part 240396407K, also FC-100) is the slide-in cartridge used in older Westinghouse and Electrolux side-by-side fridges with a front-loading filter housing. It is the same cartridge as the US Frigidaire PureSource2, so Frigidaire's own installation video applies. Sellers list it for models such as WSE6100 and early WSE6070 variants.

The Westinghouse WSE6670BA and WSE6670SA side-by-side fridges take a screw-in water filter cartridge that Westinghouse sells only as 'Filter, assembly' (part 4056050141, also listed as 4056022587). It is not the ULX220 used by the rest of the Westinghouse range. Westinghouse's manual says to change it every six months, when the REPLACE WATER FILTER light comes on.

ACC140 (Westinghouse part 3019986720) is the ceiling-mounted internal filter assembly for the WHE7670SA 762-litre French door fridge. It is the Daewoo-made DW2042FR-09 cartridge, so Daewoo and Hisense-labelled DW2042FR-09 filters are the same part. Westinghouse lists it at $83 but it is currently out of stock; the filter guide says to replace it at least every six months.
