About LG water filters

LG fridge filters are named LT-series (LT1000P, LT800P) and each has an LG part number such as AGF80300705 or ADQ73613401; multi-packs use their own codes, for example LT1000P2 (ADQ74793513) and LT1000P3 (ADQ74793510). LG says to replace the filter at least every six months, or about every 750 litres. After fitting a new filter, hold the Water Filter button for about three seconds to reset the indicator light.

2Pull the old filter down and rotate anti-clockwise to release it.
3Line up the new filter's tabs, push up and rotate clockwise until it seats firmly, then close the cover.
4Dispense about 9–10 litres of water to flush the new filter, then hold the Water Filter button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.
