1Stop the engine and let it cool, with the generator on a flat, level surface.
2EU30is: open the left side maintenance cover. EU32i: loosen the maintenance cover screw and remove the maintenance cover.
3Unsnap the air cleaner cover clips and remove the air cleaner cover.
4Take the paper element out (on the EU32i it sits in a guide). Do not clean it: fit a new one if it is dirty, and check the foam element in the cover at the same time.
5Refit the element (and guide), the air cleaner cover and the maintenance cover.
