- 1Let the engine cool. On the EF2400iS and EF3000iSE loosen the bolt and remove the side cover.
- 2Remove the spark plug cap and the spark plug.
- 3Check the gap on the new plug: Yamaha gives 0.7-0.8 mm.
- 4Fit the plug and tighten it (Yamaha gives 17.5 N·m for the EF2400iS and EF3000iSE), then refit the spark plug cap.
- 5On the EF2400iS and EF3000iSE, refit the side cover and tighten the bolt.
