How to change the BPR6HS spark plug

- 1Let the engine cool. On the EF2200iS turn the panel openers and lift the panel off its hooks; on the EF2000iS remove the cover screws and the cover.
- 2Remove the spark plug cap and access cap, insert the plug tool through the hole and turn it anticlockwise with the handlebar to remove the plug.
- 3Check the gap on the new plug: Yamaha gives 0.6-0.7 mm.
- 4Fit the plug and tighten it: Yamaha gives 20 N·m on the EF2200iS, or 1/4-1/2 turn past finger tight if you have no torque wrench.
- 5Refit the spark plug cap, the access cap and the panel or cover.
