Honda EU2200i Generator Maintenance · Honda (official)

1Let the engine cool, then remove the spark plug maintenance cover and pull off the spark plug cap.
2Clean dirt from around the plug base and remove the plug with a spark plug wrench.
3Check the gap on the new plug: Honda gives 0.6-0.7 mm. Correct it by carefully bending the side electrode.
4Screw the plug in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten a new plug a further 1/2 turn with the wrench (a used plug 1/8-1/4 turn).
5Refit the spark plug cap securely and the spark plug maintenance cover.
