How to change the LR4C-E spark plug
Watch the guide or follow the steps.
- 1Let the engine cool, then remove the spark plug maintenance cover and pull off the spark plug cap.
- 2Clean dirt from around the plug base and remove the plug with a spark plug wrench.
- 3Check the gap on the new plug: Honda gives 0.6-0.7 mm. Correct it by carefully bending the side electrode.
- 4Screw the plug in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten a new plug a further 1/2 turn with the wrench (a used plug 1/8-1/4 turn).
- 5Refit the spark plug cap securely and the maintenance cover.
