After replacing: Lift, Lift Plus and Lift Xtra: press the change-cartridge switch after fitting the new cartridge to clear the red light.

  1. 1Lift, Lift Plus, Lift Xtra: change the cartridge when the red cartridge light comes on and a warning tone sounds.
  2. 2Lift the cover of the water tank and pull the tank out by its cover. Empty out the water.
  3. 3Take out the used cartridge and fit a new one in the tank.
  4. 4Fill the tank with tap water, push it back into place with the cover open, then close the cover.
  5. 5Press the change-cartridge switch to confirm. Laurastar also says to drain the boiler each time you change the cartridge.
  6. 6IZZI: change the cartridge as soon as the warning light appears; IZZI uses the same Lift/IZZI cartridge.
