It sits under the iron rest on the base and takes scale out of tap water before it reaches the pump. Change it when the anti-calc light flashes, then press the reset button. Sold as a pack of 2.
After the change: After fitting the new cartridge and letting the appliance heat up, hold the anti-calc reset button on the control panel for 3 seconds. Tefal says to press it only when you have changed the cartridge.
