How to change the RLMB2 blade

Watch the guide or follow the steps.

How To: Replace a RYOBI Mower Blade · RYOBI TOOLS USA (official)
  1. 1Open the battery door, take out the battery pack(s) and remove the isolator key (safety key), then close the battery door. Wear heavy-duty gloves: the blade is sharp.
  2. 2Remove the grass catcher and tilt the mower on its side. Clear grass clippings and debris from the deck and blade.
  3. 3Put a piece of wood in the deck to stop the blade turning and loosen the blade nut. Remove the nut, spacer and washer, then the old blade.
  4. 4Fit the new blade, washer, spacer and nut, making sure the posts on the hub line up with the holes in the blade.
  5. 5With the wood holding the blade, hand-tighten the nut until the blade is secure, then tighten it to 35-40 Nm (about half a turn with a spanner).
