- 1Remove the battery and wait until the cutting head has stopped.
- 2Turn the trimmer over so you can see the spindle plate under the guard.
- 3To take off a worn blade, push it towards the centre of the spindle and slide it off.
- 4Place the big hole of the new blade over the blade mount on the bottom of the spindle plate.
- 5Pull the blade outwards so the small hole locks onto the mount.
