- 1Turn the trimmer off and remove both batteries.
- 2Press the release tabs on the spool cover and pull the cover straight off.
- 3Lift the old spool out of the hub and clear any broken line or debris from the spool area.
- 4Fit the new spool and thread the line through the eyelet in the spool cover.
- 5Snap the spool cover back onto the spool housing.
