- 1Switch off and unplug the trimmer.
- 2Turn the trimmer over to reach the spool housing.
- 3Press the tabs on the sides of the spool cover to take it off, then pull out the old spool.
- 4Fit the new pre-wound spool and thread the line through the eyelet on the trimmer head.
- 5Snap the spool cover back into place.
