- 1Switch off the filter pump and unplug the unit.
- 2Disconnect the hoses, open the closing clamps and lift off the cover with the foam package. On the BioPress 4000, hold the container down at the hold-down element.
- 3Turn the cover upside down on a soft surface, undo the nut on the pulling rod (hold the rod with pliers), take off the press ring and pull off the foams.
- 4Push the new foams on so the pulling rod sits in their recess, refit the press ring rod-guide down and tighten the nut. On the 6000 and 10000, check the meshed tube sits fully inside the ring.
- 5Check the cover seal, press the cover on until the clamps engage, reconnect the hoses and run a quick clean with the cleaning handle before normal use.
