1Let the downdraft cool. Press the filter button on the controls: the glass panel moves halfway down and the grease filter cartridges rise to the top.
2Lift the grease filters up and out of the cartridges. Do not bend them.
3Soak them in hot soapy water and brush them clean, or put them loosely in the dishwasher at no more than 70 °C. Do not squeeze them. Fit a new filter in place of a damaged one.
4Put the grease filters back into the cartridges and press the filter button again: the glass panel and the cartridges move down and the flap closes.
5Reset the saturation indicator.
