How long it lasts

Usually every 18 months (Panasonic: about once every 18 months (based on one 3-minute shave a day); a replacement symbol shows on the shaver when it is due).

After replacing: When the replacement symbol shows, fit the new part, then hold the power switch for more than 30 seconds to clear it. Panasonic says the symbol also turns off by itself within about 7 uses.

How to replace the blades on your Panasonic Shaver · Panasonic Support Europe (official)

1Switch the shaver off. Press the foil frame release buttons on the sides of the head and lift the outer foil section off.
2Press the outer foil release buttons and pull the old system outer foil down out of the foil frame. Keep the frame; there are no separate inner blades.
3Line up the mark on the foil frame with the mark on the new outer foil and push them together until they click.
4Refit the outer foil section with the frame mark to the front until it clicks.
5Hold the power switch for more than 30 seconds to clear the replacement symbol.
