- 2Turn the flask lever to the unlocked position; the carbonating head rises.
- 3Tilt the flask forward, put the carafe in, and return the flask upright.
- 4Push the carbonating head down and turn the flask lever to lock it, then carbonate.
- 5When done, turn the lever to unlock and wait for the excess gas to release before tilting the flask forward to take the carafe out. Don't use a chipped or cracked carafe.
