How to replace the battery on your Dyson V10 or V11™ cordless vacuum. · Dyson (official)
  1. 1Unplug the machine, read the battery's instructions, remove the wand and rest the machine on a stable surface.
  2. 2With a small Posidrive screwdriver, take out the screw at the rear of the handle, then the two angled screws under the battery.
  3. 3Detach the old battery (dispose of it under local rules) and attach the new one to the handle.
  4. 4Refit the two underside screws at about 30 degrees, then the screw at the rear of the handle.
  5. 5Fully charge the new battery before first use.
