  3. 3Grasp the hard plastic base of the old filter and pull it off the filter cage.
  4. 4Press the open end of the new pleated filter over the filter cage until the cage is completely covered, so no air can get past unfiltered.
  5. 5Put the motor unit back on the tank and hook the securing clips over its lip.
