  1. 1Switch the washer off and unplug it. Let hot water cool, and put a towel down.
  2. 2Open the drain pump filter access panel at the bottom front.
  3. 3Unclip the small drain hose and pull it out. Hold its end in a pan or bucket, remove the plug and let the water drain completely.
  4. 4Twist the pump filter anticlockwise to remove it, and clear out lint and any objects.
  5. 5Refit the filter and the drain hose plug the reverse way, then close the access panel.
