How to change the filter in your Fujitsu ASTG09LUCB

Watch the guide or follow the steps.

No clear video for this part yet. The steps cover it.

  1. 1Turn the air conditioner off and switch it off at the breaker, as Fujitsu's manual says to before cleaning.
  2. 2Pull the tab on both sides of the intake grille forward and open the whole grille, not just the small open panel.
  3. 3Lift each air filter's handle, release its two lower tabs and pull the air filters out.
  4. 4The air cleaning filters sit in frames on the front panel, held by 7 tabs each. Take the old one out and tuck the new one inside the tabs so no edge sticks out; either filter can go in the left or right frame.
  5. 5Slide the air filters back in so their lower tabs sit in the holes in the panel, then close the intake grille, pressing it shut until it clicks.
