1Unplug the motor base. Once the blades stop, twist the cup anticlockwise to unlock it and lift it off.
2Turn the cup right side up and untwist the old cross blade, holding it by the base: the blades are sharp.
3Check the new blade turns freely and its gasket is in place.
4Fill the cup, twist the new cross blade on until the cup and blade are firmly sealed, then fit the cup to the motor base.
