- 1Turn the monitor off. Hold the plastic air plug at the base of the tube and pull it out of the air jack; don't pull on the tube.
- 2Keep the old air plug. Omron says it can be fitted to the optional cuff.
- 3Push the new IntelliWrap cuff's air plug into the air jack firmly.
- 4Slide your bare arm through the cuff so the tube side sits 1–2 cm above the inside of your elbow, then tighten it.
- 5Check your arm is 22–42 cm around, the range Omron gives for the HEM-FL31.
