  1. 1Run out the beans, unplug the grinder, then turn the hopper anticlockwise and lift it off.
  2. 2Fit the burr removal tool onto the wings of the upper burr carrier and turn it clockwise to unscrew the carrier, then lift it out.
  3. 3Undo the screws holding the burr in the upper carrier with a small flat-head screwdriver and fit the new burr. Do not overtighten the screws.
  4. 4To change the lower burr, undo its screws in the grind chamber and lift it out; Baratza advises leaving the lower burr carrier in place.
  5. 5Set the upper carrier level on the grind chamber, screw it back in, refit the hopper and calibrate the burrs as the manual shows.
