How to clean with the BCC202
Watch the guide or follow the steps.
- 1Empty the drip tray and fill the water tank to MAX with cold water.
- 2Put the silicone cleaning disc in the 1-cup filter basket and fit the basket in the portafilter.
- 3Tip one sachet onto the disc (or place one cleaning tablet on it), then lock the portafilter into the group head.
- 4Start the clean cycle. Barista Express, Express Impress and Infuser: with the machine off, hold 1 CUP, 2 CUP and POWER for 3 seconds. Barista Pro: MENU, then FLUSH, then 1 CUP. Dual Boiler, Dynamic Duo and Oracle: press MENU until CLEAN CYCLE shows, then start it. Touch-screen models: follow the clean cycle on screen.
- 5Duo-Temp Pro (no clean button): turn the dial to Espresso for 20 seconds, back to Standby, and repeat three times or until the tablet has dissolved.
- 6When the cycle ends, check the sachet or tablet has fully dissolved (run it again without a new one if not), then rinse the portafilter, basket and disc.
