  1. 1Switch the dishwasher off, let it cool (the water in the sump can be hot) and pull out the lower basket. Take care: there may be broken glass in the sump.
  2. 2Turn the round filter (B) anticlockwise and lift it out, then pull the inner filter (C) out of it.
  3. 3Lift out the flat filter (A) and check that no food is left in or around the edge of the sump.
  4. 4Put the flat filter back so it sits under its 2 guides, and push filter (C) back into filter (B).
  5. 5Put filter (B) back into the flat filter and turn it clockwise until it locks.
  6. 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.
