How to take out the filter in your Fisher & Paykel dishwasher

  1. 1Turn the DishDrawer off at the wall and let it cool. Take care: there may be broken glass in the drawer.
  2. 2Lift the base rack out from the rear to reach the filters.
  3. 3Twist the drain filter anticlockwise and lift it out. To separate the holder and the mesh, pinch one side of the mesh only and pull.
  4. 4Lift the filter plate up and out. Clean the parts in hot soapy water and rinse them.
  5. 5Push the filter plate back onto the tub with no particles in the recess, click the mesh onto the holder until the arrows align, then push the drain filter in and turn it clockwise until its arrows line up with the drawer.
  6. 6To replace a damaged filter, fit the new one in its place the same way and check it locks in.

After refitting the filter

After a set number of cycles the filter indicator flashes. Select the drawer showing the alert, then press and hold the filter button (see your user guide) for 2 seconds to clear it.
