How to change the FR5950 water filter

  1. 1Turn off the cold water at the under-sink isolation valve; Oliveri also suggests turning it off at the mains.
  2. 2Turn the filtered tap on to let the pressure out of the filter system.
  3. 3Twist the old cartridge to the left and pull it down out of the head.
  4. 4Line up the notches on the new cartridge with the head, push it up and twist it to the right.
  5. 5Turn the water back on, run the filtered tap for 2–3 minutes to clear the air (cloudy water clears), then turn it off and check for leaks.
  6. 6Write the date on the pink sticker and stick it on the cartridge.
