How to change your GROHE filter

  1. 1Blue Home and Professional: switch the cooler off at the wall before you start. Blue Pure: turn off the cold water to the filter under the sink.
  2. 2Hold a cloth under the filter, then unscrew the old cartridge from the filter head.
  3. 3Screw the new cartridge straight into the filter head, about 1½ to 2 turns, until it stops.
  4. 4Reset the filter capacity on the cooler or in the GROHE app (Blue Home, Professional), or on the flow meter or filter timer (Blue Pure). If you changed filter type, set the new type too.
  5. 5Blue Home and Professional: GROHE asks for the cooler to be cleaned once a year, before a filter change, with cleaning cartridge 40434001.

Reset the filter capacity after the change: on the cooler (Blue Home, Professional) or in the GROHE app, or on the flow meter or filter timer under the sink (Blue Pure). If you change filter type, set the new type and water hardness too.
