- 1Clean the plinth filter when its indicator light comes on or programmes take longer than usual. Press the round, indented area on the heat exchanger access panel; it springs open.
- 2Pull the plinth filter out by its handle, then pull the handle out of the plinth filter.
- 3Rinse the filter gently under running water, squeezing it several times, until no residue is left. Gently squeeze the water out; do not refit it dripping wet.
- 4Wipe the fluff off the handle, fit the filter back on the handle the right way round and push it in completely.
- 5Wipe fluff off the flap seal with a damp cloth and close the heat exchanger access panel. Replace the plinth filter if it is deformed, cracked, torn or no longer sits properly.
