How long it lasts
Usually every 6 months. The filter light is a reminder, not a water-quality sensor.
After replacing: Samsung AU support: hold Filter Reset for 3 seconds on models with the button; on touch-panel models tap any button to wake the display, tap the circle icon until the Water Filter indicator blinks, then choose Reset with the arrow buttons.
Flow slows and taste drops off as the filter fills up. Changing on time is the whole point.
