- 1Switch off and unplug the trimmer.
- 2Press the release tabs on the line spool cover and pull the cover straight off.
- 3Lift the old spool out of the hub and clear any broken line or debris from the spool area.
- 4Fit the new spool into the spool housing, unclip the two line ends and guide them into the eyelets so about 11 cm sticks out.
- 5Snap the spool cover back onto the spool housing.
