How to change the 29007 pool filter cartridge
Watch the guide or follow the steps.
- 1Turn the pump off and unplug the power cord.
- 2In the pool, unscrew the inlet nozzle and strainer grid and push the hat-like plugs into the strainer connectors so the pool does not drain.
- 3Turn the housing collar anticlockwise and lift off the threaded cover. Keep the cover seal.
- 4Lift out the cartridge and hose it clean, or fit a new one if it stays dirty. Intex says to replace it at least every 2 weeks.
- 5Refit the cartridge, seal and cover, and screw the collar back on clockwise.
- 6Open the air release valve, take out the plugs, let the air escape, close the valve, refit the nozzle and strainer grid, then turn the pump on.
