How long it lasts

How to change the cartridge in your Intex CS8221

- 1Turn the pump off and unplug the power cord.
- 2Turn both plunger valve handles fully clockwise to close them, then open the top air release valve a turn or two.
- 3Turn the housing collar anticlockwise and lift off the housing cover.
- 4Lift out the cartridge and hose it clean with a strong spray, or fit a new one if it is discoloured, misshapen or torn. Flush any sediment out through the sediment valve at the base.
- 5Refit the cartridge and cover and screw the collar back on clockwise.
- 6Open both plunger valves fully, close the air release valve once the air is out, plug in and turn the pump on.
