Common questions
- What happens if I don't change the filter?
- A clogged cartridge slows the flow and the pump works harder, and a torn one lets dirt back into the water, so the pool or spa clouds.
- Does Vortex make a compatible cartridge?
- Vortex makes the genuine cartridge. Compatible cartridges for Vortex models are made by other companies to fit the same models, and Australian sellers we track list both; each part page shows the genuine and compatible prices side by side.
- What do I do after changing the cartridge in a Vortex spa?
- The Vortex manual describes no filter reminder; follow its cleaning schedule.
Brand names describe compatibility only; FitMatch is independent of Vortex. Fitment sources are recorded on every model page.
