How to change the sealing ring in your Instant Pot pressure cooker

1Unplug the cooker and let it cool, then open the lid and turn it upside down.
2Grip the edge of the old ring and pull it out from behind the round stainless-steel ring rack.
3Check the rack is secure, centred and level all the way round. Don't try to fix a bent rack.
4Place the new ring over the rack and press it down firmly all the way round so there is no puckering.
5Check it sits snug behind the rack and stays put when you turn the lid over. Fit only one ring at a time, then close the lid.
